The FREE program was designed to help protect the Army warfighter from fire related injuries while operating in conditions ranging from -15˚F to 120˚F.
ADS’ success with the FREE program was a direct result of extensive collaboration with several state-of-the-art fabrics, yarn and fiber manufacturers and several design teams. The Army conducted comprehensive testing and evaluation to determine which commercially designed system best met the requirement. ADS and our team of 7 fabric manufacturers and 8 garment producers were selected.
