The SPOTR (Surveillance Platform, Observation & Tactial Reconnaissance) is a system comprising of light weight, ruggedized variable power telescope, capable of assisting scout sniper teams in locating and identifying distant targets. The LaRue SPOTR is capable of integrating current-issue night observation devices, such as PVS-27’s, PVS-24’s and PVS-14’s; by using detachable MIL-STD-1913 accessory rails. Additional lasers/illuminators, such as PEQ-2A’s, PEQ-15’s and DBALA2’s; can also be mounted on these rail sections. No need to modify the existing interfaces on the devices, providing they are designed to interface with MIL-STD-1913 rails. Adapters are provided to interface the SPOTR with a variety of current issue devices.
