Kopis is the manufacturer of the new, cutting edge TacEx. Designed and manufactured in the U.S., the TacEx is alightweight, portable and flexible Site Exploitation Tool with more options and capabilities than traditional metal detectors. Highly-sensitive pulse induction technology makes it ideal for mineralized soil, wet conditions, and deep penetration through walls. With its embedded Bluetooth technology and Android and iPhone apps, the TacEx system can: The TacEx is available in SE, VSO, and ECP configurations and its modular design allows the operator to pick the right detection head for the right mission. With an operating weight of only 4.5 lbs and 13.75″ x 5″ x 2.8″ size in the stowed position, the TacEx is small and lightweight enough to go anywhere. When used in conjunction with its Android or iPhone app, the TacEx can deliver data to a variety of Common Operating Picture (COP) packages, providing commanders with a significant advance in situational awareness over any other Site Exploitation tool. The app has been integrated with a number of warfighter systems including Nett Warrior, RaptorX, Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK), Cursor on Target (CoT), and a variety of tactical cellular networks. The combination of device, app, and COP software allows the commander to:
