Kukri and Saber detonator diagnostic tools reduce the risks to EOD operators and bomb technicians by providing valuable information that influences render safe procedures.

KUKRI is designed to monitor current in a single electrical conductor (wire) and then protect the operator by electronically isolating that conductor should the current attempt to rise above a preset threshold.

SABER is designed to be used for detonator and switch diagnostics in exactly the same manner as a Digital Multi Meter (DMM) would be, however it has several advantages when compared to a DMM as its deliberately limited functions mean the operator does not require extensive training. It also has greater internal impedance: minimum 20MΩ versus 10MΩ, making it safer than a DMM.
