The Avon NH15 compact escape hood is the smallest NIOSH certified CBRN Air Purifying Escape Respirator on the market. Its lower cost makes it ideal for police, emergency medical services and fire officers seeking immediate or emergency respiratory protection in a CBRN scenario. The NH15 hood has a five year shelf life and provides a high level of respiratory, eye and face protection for a minimum of fifteen minutes to allow the user to evacuate from a contaminated area. Made of clear material, the hood provides a non-threatening appearance, aids with recognition and also allows for superior visual communication. Twin low-profile filters reduce snag hazards while the latest filtration media reduces breathing resistance. A front facing reflector aids with identification of colleagues in low light environments. No annual fit testing is required with this product.
