Kenyon FR Shield L2: L2 fabrics pass stringent military specifications for No Drip/No Melt (ASTM-D-6413) and are also protected with Silver Plus technology, which has been shown to be 99.99% effective in the reduction of Staphylococcus Aureus and Pseudomonas Aerugionosa bacteria. Kenyon FR Shield Layer 2 garments are constructed using midweight fabric comprised of a proprietary blend of modacrylic, rayon, and spandex. The FR qualities of our midweight fabric are permanent for the life of the garment. L2 fabrics have a very high TPP (Thermal Protective Performance) while maintaining the highest ratings for THL (Thermal Heat Loss) for moving extra heat away from the body.
