HDT Global – Tactical Solar Power Systems

Three system components make up the Tactical Solar Power System: Expandable Solar Array (ESA) deploys on roof or other surface to collect solar energy, Expandable Battery Pack (EBP) to store power and the Balance of Systems (BOS) to load balance power needs as required from this or other power generation systems including HMWVV batteries, wind, electric or other generators. As an alternative to rigid solar panels, this system features flexible PV panels laminated onto PVC-coated canvas (shelter cover fabric). The ESA is made in 5′ modular sections which may deploy on any surface in multiple units as desired. The offerings below are conveniently packaged as systems which fit on the roof of the various models of Base-X® Shelters as indicated. The individual components may also be purchased separately.
