The UTTR Kit contains a fully functional and portable OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) that allows the Warfighter to immediately find excessive bends or breaks in any fiber optic link. The OTDR also functions as a Power Meter & Inspection Probe Screen. A Quad Light Source for LED and LASER frequencies is included, as well as all necessary HQJs (High Quality Jumpers). This kit also has a Fusion Splice Module to repair any kind of fiber cable. This kit is also a complete connector termination kit containing every tool needed to connectorize any brand of TFOCA (FG) Dual Biconic, TFOCA (SG) Second Generation, or any connector manufacturer’s ST, SC, or LC single fiber connectors they may find in theater.
