The “SP” Push-to-Talk is a hybrid of our original “K” PTT, but incorporates the plug-and-play capability of the DOMINATOR and WARRIOR Push-to-Talks. The overall size of the blackened, anodized aluminum housing measures 2″ wide x 2. 25″ tall x 1″ thick. The assembly features water-tight headset and radio interface cable fittings and a shrouded PTT switch. A remote radio volume control can also be added to the “SP”, allowing an operator to wear his radio on his back and adjust the radio’s volume from the PTT box. The plug-and-play feature allows the operator to purchase a cable to connect a smart phone to their headset to monitor both radio and smart phone comms simultaneously. Also available are smart component DOD or General Aviation accessory cables designed to connect to each specific type of ICS PTT interface inside HELOS, as well as certain fixed wing aircraft. The “SP” Push-to-Talk is only available as a single comm system. If a dual comm PTT, with smart phone and/or ICS cable is required, please choose the WARRIOR PTT assembly. The “SP” PTT assembly is IP67 rated for dust, dirt and water ingress
