Better Materials
Wing uses polyurethane exclusively in the construction of our tubes, sponsons and inflatable boats. The expected service life of a polyurethane tube is 7 – 8 years versus Hypalon which is only five. Polyurethane also has twice the puncture resistance and four times the abrasion resistance than Hypalon or PVC.
Better Technology
Wing uses heat to permanently bond its air-holding seams because glue doesn’t last forever. Wing’s air-holding tube seams are thermo-welded making them into a single, inseparable piece that is stronger than the original fabric.
Better Design
Decades of white water rafting experience taught our founder a thing or two about durable inflatable boat design. Wing’s exclusive patent pending hull design combines the right amount of angle, keel inflation and/or strakes to get the job done and help you get back home.
