When the Air National Guard needed a rapidly deployable feeding capability for domestic emergency response, Babington’s Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer (DRMKT), the world’s most energy efficient mobile kitchen, was the solution. This system provided the ANG a C-130 certified, air-and-ground deployable solution that runs on only 2.8 kilowatts, 1/10th of the amount of electricity required for a single commercial griddle capable of preparing up to 8,000 meals per day.
