Product Manager Force Sustainment Systems (FSS)

PM FSS is an Army program office that enhances the combat effectiveness and quality of life for the Soldier by providing equipment, systems, and technical support to sustain and improve the environments in which they live, train, and operate.

In 2013, PM FSS came to ADS for procurement assistance in support of the initial fielding of a more energy efficient base camp configuration. The new system resulted in fuel consumption savings and, most importantly, a savings of more than 3.2 million gallons of water usage per year, per unit.

ADS supported PM FSS by offering a rapid existing contract for them to utilize; providing full supply chain management oversight to ensure on-time delivery, conducting in-depth quality control inspections at the manufacturer’s facility, and participating in weekly program status updates with the customer.
