The Telephonics TruLink® Access Point (TAP) is a mounted, permanent solution which can be wired into an existing intercommunications system to extend and create a wireless network between vehicle and crew. To ensure protection of sensitive communications, Telephonics offers the TruLink WindTalker Encryption Device (WED). When used in conjunction with the TPT, these units offer a variety of encryption options including AES, software based FIPS-140, and National Security Agency Type 1.
