The SKEDCO EXTREME MEDICINE® SERIES of immediate action cards were specifically developed to provide personnel trained in the “Art of Tactical Medicine” with “quick reference” guidelines to assist in the performance of their duties while rendering medical aid in a TACTICAL ENVIRONMENT. These guidelines are NOT a substitute for formal medical education or training at any level nor do they replace local policies and procedures set forth by the sponsoring organization. In the spirit of tactical medicine, when in question, always consult your medical supervisor and follow established unit standard operating procedures (SOP).

More specifically, the First Responder-Combat CASEVAC Immediate Action Cards were developed for First Responders formally trained as medical providers and who have received instruction or training in the “Principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care.”
